Milwillah Sergeant V284

We have a new stud sire at Koojan Hills after we purchased lot 92 for $85,000 at the recent Milwillah Angus bull sale in Young, NSW.
Milwillah Sergeant V284 will be the third Milwillah bull used in our program after the hugely successful Milwillah Gatsby G279 and more recently Milwillah Upload U26.
We were excited when V284 arrived in late October after a marathon journey across the Nullarbor and he was immediately given a group of young spring calvers.

V284 is a bull who we think can add a lot to our program. Most notably he has exceptional feet, outstanding temperament and impressive thickness. His sons will breed steers with the carcase we are chasing and we think he will produce ideal replacement females. He has a pedigree jam packed with some of the breeds most influential cows and he has an EBV profile which we think is ideal for our grass finishing program.

We have visited Milwillah herd a number of times now and love their depth of body, thickness and structure.
V284 is already proving to be a bull with plenty of masculinity and libido as he has barely taken a breath in his first few weeks in his mob. We love this in our bulls however it makes it a challenge when trying to take his photo!

At just 18 months old we are looking forward to watching V284 grow out and will be excited to see his first calves drop in 2026.
